‘Hezbollah has precision-guided missiles’, Nasrallah threatens Israel from his underground bunker
In a televised speech, from the safety of his underground bunker where he has been hiding from Israel since 2006, Hezbollah terror group leader Hassan Nasrallah said on Thursday that his group is getting precision rockets despite Israeli actions to cut smuggling routes through Syria.
Israel on Monday completely destroyed an advanced weapons systems shipment in an Iranian weapons warehouse near the coastal Syrian city of Latakia, which was supposed to be transferred to Hezbollah and the Iranian Quds Force.
“No matter what you do to cut the route, the matter is over and the
resistance [terror group] possesses precision and non-precision rockets and weapons capabilities,” Nasrallah said, addressing Israel in a broadcast speech.
“If Israel forces a war on Lebanon, it will face a situation it did not expect one day,” the terror group leader said, adding that Israel is aware that technology alone cannot be decisive in a war.
Israel was forced to make a rare admission that it was behind the attack on Tuesday after a Russian jet was downed on Monday by Syrian aerial defenses, killing 15 troops.
“Israel holds the Assad regime, whose military shot down the Russian plane fully responsible for this incident. Israel also holds Iran and the Hezbollah terror organization accountable for this unfortunate incident.”
“These weapons were meant to attack Israel and posed an intolerable threat against it,” Manelis said.
