Intense IAF fighter jets activity reported in southern Israel and above Gaza.
According to Arab reports, the IDF opened fire towards Hamas observation posts near the security border fence in Shajaiya, east of Gaza City and Khuza’a, in southern Gaza.
No injuries reported.
In another incident, the IDF fired warning shots near a group of Muslim terrorists who were attempting to sabotage the security border fence in Zeitoun.
Yesterday, hundreds of Muslim terrorists gathered at Gaza’s northern beaches to riot, prepare and send makeshift rafts with burning tires towards Israel.
Dozens of boats took part in a terror flotilla which attempted to breach Israel’s maritime border.
The Israeli Navy fired warning shots towards the boats and they moved back to Gaza.
The IDF and Israel Police are on high alert over the days of Rosh Hashanah, with forces stationed along the Gaza border, Judea-Samaria and the Old City of Jerusalem.
The IDF put in place a total closure of Judea, Samaria and Gaza beginning on Saturday night ahead of Rosh Hashanah.
The closure, a routine counter-terrorism procedure during Israeli and Jewish holidays, is expected to last until midnight on Wednesday.
