Israel closes Erez border crossing with Gaza

Israel partially closed the Erez Crossing with Gaza on Sunday morning in response to violent riots and arson attacks staged by Hamas over the weekend and following a delay in the reaching of an Egyptian-mediated ceasefire agreement with the terror group.

Despite the expectation of an agreement, Muslim terrorists rioted along the security border fence between Hamas-occupied Gaza and Israel, with rioters burning tires, throwing rocks, flying firebombs attached to kites and attempting to infiltrate into Israel in order to murder Jews, as they do every Friday after mosque.

Hamas terrorists in Gaza continue to launch firebombs attached to balloons in order to burn Israeli fields, wildlife, people’s food and livelihoods.

Over the weekend, fire department units dealt with multiple fires in Israeli towns near the Gaza border.
