8 wanted terrorists arrested overnight in Judea and Samaria – Riots broke out in Shechem

BREAKING: The IDF arrested 8 Muslim terrorists overnight in Judea and Samaria, who were wanted for involvement in lone wolf terror attacks and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.

All of the terrorists were transferred to the appropriate security personnel for questioning.

As part of an ongoing campaign by the IDF against illegal weapons in Judea and Samaria, the Etzion and Binyamin regional brigades seized a number of weapons of various kinds.

In addition, as part of counter-terrorism operations against funds used for terrorism, tens of thousands of shekels were seized in Hevron.

IDF forces from the Etzion and Menashe regional brigades seized two vehicles which were used for terrorist purposes.

Overnight, the IDF, Border Police and the Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria secured the entry of 900 Jewish worshipers to biblical Joseph’s Tomb in Shechem.

During the entry into the Samarian city, Muslim terrorists threw rocks, firebombs and fireworks at the troops.  There were no casualties and no damage reported.

The IDF responded with riot dispersal methods.
