17 fires broke out today in southern Israel due to firebombs launched by Muslim terrorists in Gaza
According to the fire and rescue service, 7 fires broke out on Sunday in Israeli towns near the Gaza border due to incendiary balloons being flown by Muslim terrorists from Gaza into Israel.
Together with the fires reported by the National Parks Authority, firefighting crews dealt with 17 fires so far today.
Multiple fire department units dealt with fires in Alumim, Nahal Oz, Kissufim, Sa’ad, Kibbutz Erez.
A firebomb attached to a balloon landed near a kindergarten in Kibbutz Zikim. No fire or injuries reported.
An IDF aircraft struck in el-Bureij on Sunday afternoon, targeting a terror cell that launched firebombs attached to balloons towards Israeli territory.
