Terrorists open fire at IDF under the cover of 20 children — 4 Hamas terrorists eliminated in retaliatory strikes
A Muslim terrorist in Gaza fired at IDF troops under the cover of 20 children that were sent towards the border fence as decoy.
An IDF soldier was lightly wounded in the shooting attack. He was evacuated to the Soroka Medical Center for further medical treatment.
This is the second sniper attack against the IDF in a week.
The shooting attack occurred in the Kissufim area where IDF soldier Staff Sgt. Aviv Levi was murdered by a Hamas sniper on Friday afternoon.
In response, the IDF targeted 7 Hamas terror posts in Gaza.
Four Muslim terrorists belonging to the Hamas armed wing were eliminated in the retaliatory attack.
The IDF said that the sniper attack was staged by a group of terror organizations in Gaza defined as rogue groups. Sources inside Gaza suggest ISIS-linked terror groups have received orders to bombard Israeli positions near the border fence in response to Israel’s attacks this evening.
Currently there are no official announcements from any terror group that they invalidate the Egyptian ceasefire.
The Popular Front said that Gaza factions are considering their options, echoing the Islamic Jihad. Hamas has mentioned its terrorists eliminated and issued a general threat.
Sirens sounded in Hof Ashkelon and Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council. A rocket launched by Muslim terrorists in Gaza, exploded in an open area in the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council. There were no injuries.
