Kerem Shalom crossing returns to partial activity

Minister of Defense Avigdor Liberman decided that the Kerem Shalom crossing will return to partial activity and that from 12:00 PM on Tuesday, fuel and gas will be allowed into the Gaza Strip in addition to food and medicine.

The minister’s decision stems from the fact that Hamas has not completely stopped its terrorist attacks, but is trying to maintain a low level of friction.

The return of the Kerem Shalom crossing to full operation is contingent upon a complete cessation of the launching incendiary balloons and kites into Israel and terror activity along the security fence.

Liberman in a direct message to Gaza residents: “You can choose between poverty and unemployment or work and livelihood, between hatred and bloodshed or coexistence and personal security. If your leadership is not ready for that, then replace the leadership”
