Israel closes Kerem Shalom commercial border crossing for fuel and gas transfers into Gaza
BREAKING: Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman and IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot have decided to close the Kerem Shalom border crossing for fuel and gas transfers into Gaza until Sunday.
Israel will continue to transfer food and medicines that will be approved on an individual basis, in light of Hamas’ continued terrorist activity.
This contradicts Gaza reports that only medicines would be allowed in.
In addition, the IDF has reduced the fishing limits in Gaza from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles.
Last week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel will close the Kerem Shalom border crossing with Gaza over the continued arson attacks via incendiary kites and balloons launched by Muslim terrorists from Gaza into Israel in recent months.
