Arab media reports Israel bombed ISIS terrorists in Sinai

Israeli fighter jets bombed ISIS targets in the Sinai Peninsula, targeting terrorist positions in northern Sinai, according to a report in the London-based Qatari newspaper Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

The targets were located not far from the border with Gaza, just outside the cities of Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid.

According to the report, the IAF strikes were carried out with the approval of the Egyptian military.

Earlier this week, Egyptian forces eliminated at least 32 ISIS-affiliated terrorists in two separate counter-terrorism operations in the province of Northern Sinai.
