2 rockets launched at southern Israel from Iranian backed terror group in Gaza
Code Red rocket-alert sirens sounded three times at the Eshkol Regional Council on Saturday evening.
Residents reported hearing two explosions following a string of Code Red rocket-alert sirens in Kissufim, Ein Hashlosha and Nirim.
One of the rockets was intercepted by Iron Dome missile batteries. Another rocket fell short and exploded inside Gaza territory.
An additional mortar shell landed in an open area in Eshkol Regional Council.
So far, there have been no reports on injuries or damage.
The IDF urges residents in the communities surrounding Gaza to remain in shelters or near safe spaces tonight.
The Iranian backed military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees terror group in Gaza, has reportedly carried out tonight’s attacks.

Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group fired over 100 rockets at Israeli communities near the Gaza border on Tuesday morning, with at least two hitting inside the communities, one outside a kindergarten.
