4 IDF soldiers wounded in explosives attack near the security border fence with Gaza
Two soldiers were seriously wounded and two others moderately and lightly wounded Saturday afternoon when an explosive device was set off near an IDF patrol around the border fence in southern Gaza, opposite the kibbutz Ein HaShlosha.
Reports suggest that Muslim terrorists planted the bomb during yesterday’s day of rage, where they planted a flag on the fence. The forces arrived to remove the flag and the bomb was detonated by the terrorists.
An Israeli helicopter has arrived along with several ambulances to evacuate the wounded soldiers from the security border fence area.
The IDF attacked an Islamic Jihad observation post in the southern Gaza Strip in retaliation.
The Israeli media is reporting preparations for a large scale military response following the explosive detonation today.
Arabs reported that the Jihad’s Sayarat Al Quds terror group is the faction responsible for today’s attack.
An IDF spokesperson described it as a military incident that will have “no ramifications” and will lead to “no change in instructions for the residents”.
