3 soldiers wounded in terror vehicular attack

Three soldiers were lightly wounded in a vehicular attack on Thursday when their military vehicle collided with a Palestinian car near Neve Daniel in the Gush Etzion area.

The Arab driver was seriously wounded and was evacuated to hospital, while the soldiers received treatment at the scene but did not require hospitalization.

At first, the collision was thought to be an accident, but as time went by the possibility a deliberate attack became more likely.

A police statement read: “An Israeli vehicle at Gush Etzion Junction struck a military vehicle at Neve Daniel Junction, causing it to flip over. Three passengers in the military vehicle were lightly injured.

“According to a preliminary investigation, it is believed that the Palestinian intentionally struck the military vehicle”.
