Stabbing attack in Petah Tikvah

A man was stabbed and moderately wounded on Tuesday afternoon in Petah Tikva in a terror attack.

An initial investigation  found that the victim, an ultra-Orthodox Jewish man, was about to enter a store on Baron Hirsch Street in the city and was surprised when the suspect, of Arab descent, attacked him from behind with a knife, stabbing him in his upper body.

The store owner and the wounded man were able to extract the knife from the attacker’s hand, tackled him to the ground and eliminated him.
