Two injured in Ariel stabbing attack
Two Israeli security guards were injured Thursday morning in a stabbing attack at the entrance to the Barkan Industrial Park near Ariel in Samaria.
The two victims, a man and a woman, suffered moderate stab wounds to their upper bodies. Both are reportedly conscious.
The terrorist was eliminated by security forces at the scene.
Initial reports indicate he arrived with a knife to the main entrance of the industrial park before attacking the two Israeli guards.
A large presence of IDF and police forces are at the scene investigating a report the terrorist was dropped off by an accomplice.
The Barkan Industrial Park employes tens of thousands of Palestinians and is often touted as a place where Jews and Arab works together. Security forces are probing the possibility the terrorist was an employee at one of the factories there.
