Border Police officer stabbed in Nahariya in third terror attack of the day

A Border Police officer was stabbed and moderately wounded in Nahariya on Friday evening, in the third terror attack to have been carried out on Friday.

Just after 6:30pm, an arab terrorist stabbed a Border Police officer in the upper part of his body close to the central bus station in Nahariya. The officer was moderately wounded and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital with several stab wounds to his upper body. The terrorist fled the scene and a search is currently underway.

Checkpoints were set up on roads in east Nahariya and an intelligence investigation was also taking place.
