France Under Attack: Muslim terrorist beheads, murders 3 Christian worshippers – Terrorist eliminated in Avignon – 2 attacks thwarted
BREAKING: A Muslim terrorist was shot and eliminated by police after attempting to stab people while shouting ‘allahu akbar’ in Montfavet, a district in the city of Avignon.
The terrorist was eliminated after he refused to drop his weapon and a flash-ball shot failed to stop him.
France has been struck by two terror attacks within hours of each other as three Christian worshippers were murdered – two of them beheaded – in a terror attack inside a church in Nice.
The first attack began around 9 am at the Notre Dame basilica in Nice where a 21-year-old Tunisian migrant beheaded an elderly female parishioner and a male churchwarden, fatally stabbed a second woman, wounded several others, and was then shot and arrested by police.
A security guard was also stabbed and wounded outside the French consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, while two other Muslim terrorists were arrested – one while carrying a knife near a church in Sartrouville after his father reported he was about to carry out a Nice-style terror attack, and another who tried to board a train in Lyon carrying a sword.
The terror attacks came within days of the murder of French school teacher Samuel Paty, who was beheaded in Paris this month by an 18-year-old Muslim terrorist from Pakistan after he used caricatures of mohammad in a class on freedom of expression.
That murder convulsed France, carrying echoes of the Muslim terror attack in 2015 on the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo after it published cartoons of mohammad.
Macron traveled to Nice following the attack and gave a speech as church bells sounded across France to honor the murdered.
Macron said it was ‘clear that France is under attack… because of our values of freedom and our desire not to give in to terror’.
