Israeli fighter jets bomb Hamas terror targets in response to heavy rocket barrages from Gaza

HAPPENING NOW: Israeli fighter jets are bombing Hamas terror targets in Gaza after heavy barrages of rockets fired by Muslim terrorists toward southern Israel.

Arabs report at least two lightly injured in an IDF strike in northern Gaza.

Earlier, the IDF struck Hamas terror targets in response to a rocket attack as Israel signed the Abraham Accords with UAE and Bahrain at the White House.

The IDF confirmed the strikes in Gaza in response to the rocket attacks.

At least ten terror targets were struck, including a weapons and explosives manufacturing factory and a terror compound used for the training and rocket launching experiments by Hamas.

According to security forces, Hamas paid a heavy price in the massive attack tonight.

“The IDF views any terror activity against Israel with great severity and is ready to continue operating as necessary against attempts to harm Israeli civilians and sovereignty. The Hamas terror organization is responsible for all events transpiring in Gaza and emanating from it, and will bear the consequences for terror activity against Israeli civilians,” the IDF said in a statement.

The Islamic Jihad and other terror groups in Gaza have declared they are responding to each IDF retaliatory strike with more rockets.

Six people were wounded in the attack toward the city of Ashdod. A 62-year-old man was wounded from the rocket impact. His condition has worsened and is currently hospitalized in critical condition at Assuta Hospital in Ashdod.
