Car-ramming attack in Samaria: policeman, soldier injured – Muslim terrorist neutralized

An IDF soldier and a policeman were lightly wounded in a car-ramming attack at the Tapuach Junction in Samaria.

A Muslim terrorist rammed his car into the servicemen, then exited the vehicle, ran at them and attempted to stab them with a knife before he was shot, neutralized and moderately injured by the wounded police officer.

MDA first responders provided medical treatment to the servicemembers who sustained moderate injuries.

They were both transferred to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva for treatment.

“We will not allow terror to raise its head and we will fight the perpetrators and those who send them,” Defense Minister Benny Gantz said following the terror attack.
