Stabbing attack in Petah Tikva: Israeli man murdered, Muslim terrorist arrested

BREAKING: A 39-year-old Israeli man was murdered by a Muslim terrorist in a stabbing attack at Sgula Junction in Petah Tikvah.

The victim has been identified as Shai Ohayon, a Breslev Chasid and a father of four children.

MDA first responders found an Israeli man with stab wounds to his upper body lying near Sgula Junction. Medics and paramedics provided him with medical treatment at the scene and later evacuated him to Beilinson Hospital in the city, where he died of his wounds.

The Muslim terrorist, a 46-year-old resident of the Arab Authority who had a valid permit to work in Israel, was caught by police following a manhunt with the help of the general public.

According to a preliminary investigation, the terrorist stabbed the victim due to his ultra-Orthodox attire.

A citizen who was walking nearby saw the attack, shouted “terrorist” and started chasing after him. He neutralized the terrorist and waited for the police to arrive.
