23 fires broke out in southern Israel due to firebomb-balloons from Gaza – Israel blocks Qatari bribes to Hamas
For the first time since 2018, Israel moves to halt the transfer of millions of dollars in Qatari bribes to Hamas in response to thousands of firebombs and explosive devices attached to balloons, launched by Muslim terrorists from Gaza into Israel.
At least 23 fires broke out today in southern Israel due to incendiary balloons launched from Gaza.
Their goal? Torching Israeli fields, destroying wildlife, people’s food and livelihoods.
Multiple fire department units dealt with fires near Or Haner, Ami’oz, Sdot Negev, Erez, Be’eri, Shuva, Kissufim Forest and in the Merhavim, Hof Ashkelon, Eshkol and Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Councils.
IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi conducted a situational assessment with commanders of the Gaza division at one of the incendiary balloon fire locations today.
“I believe the balloon terrorism will stop in the coming days,” he told Gaza Envelope community leaders.
Saif al-Islam, Ahfad an-Nassar and Sons of Zouari, Barq, all cells of Muslim terrorists, posted on social media pictures of devices ready to be used and threatened the residents of southern Israel with more terror attacks.
Overnight, Israeli fighter jets bombed Hamas terror targets in Gaza in response to hundreds of balloons and explosive devices launched yesterday toward Israel.
“In response to a series of explosive balloons launched from Gaza into Israel over the last week, we just struck a Hamas aerial defense post, underground infrastructure, and observation posts in Gaza. Hamas will bear the consequences for terror activity against Israeli civilians,” the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit tweeted.
