Israel imposes more restrictions on Gaza over incendiary, explosive balloons launched by Muslim terrorists
BREAKING: In addition to closing the Kerem Shalom commercial crossing and reducing the fishing perimeter, Israel announced it would stop all import of fuel into Gaza as Muslim terrorists continue attempting to murder Jews by launching explosive devices and firebombs attached to balloons into Israeli territory.
The decision was taken by Defense Minister Benny Gantz, following consultations with security officials.
“Following security consultations which took place last night, Minister of Defense Beny Gantz has approved today the recommendation of the Chief of Staff, Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories and security officials, and has ordered to halt the import of fuel into Gaza. This is in light of the continued launching of incendiary balloons from Gaza toward the territory of the State of Israel and of the undermining of security stability,” the COGAT said in a statement.
At least 24 fires broke out yesterday in southern Israel due to firebombs and bombs launched from Gaza.
In response, the IDF announced the reduction of Gaza’s fishing perimeter from 15 to 8 nautical miles.
In addition, Israeli fighter jets bombed Hamas terror targets in Gaza, including a terror compound, underground infrastructure and observation posts.
