Israeli helicopters bomb terror targets on the Syrian Golan Heights in response to thwarted terror attack

BREAKING: Israeli combat helicopters bombed a number of terror targets belonging to the Assad Forces in response to last night’s attempted explosives attack on the Israeli border with Syria.

Simultaneously, Israeli fighter jets bombed weapons depots belonging to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards terror group near Damascus.

The targets struck include observation posts, intel collection systems, anti-aircraft artillery, command and control systems.

“In response to last night’s attempted attack from Syria, IDF aircraft have struck various military targets belonging to the Syrian Armed Forces. Attacks on Israel will not be tolerated,” Jonathan Conricus, the International IDF Spokesperson tweeted”.

Last night, IDF troops on the southern Golan Heights adjacent to an IDF post spotted a terror squad placing explosive devices next to the security fence on the Israeli border with Syria. IDF troops and an IDF aircraft fired simultaneously towards the squad of four terrorists, eliminating the threat.

IDF forces today searched the area and found weapons and a bag containing explosive devices ready to be used.
