IDF calls up reservists to reinforce the Northern Command
BREAKING: The IDF has begun to call up a number of reservists to reinforce the Northern Command after IDF troops thwarted an infiltration attempt by Hezbollah when a cell of four Muslim terrorists advanced several meters into Israeli territory.
The infiltration attempt appeared to have been in response to the elimination of a Hezbollah terrorist in an Israeli raid on Iranian weapons warehouses in Syria last week.
Hezbollah denied its Muslim terrorists attempted to infiltrate into Israeli territory, calling the Israeli account a move to create “false victories”.
Israeli defense officials scoffed at the terror group’s denial, saying the infiltration attempt had been filmed by military security cameras and that the terrorists who took part in it were armed.
According to officials, Israel assumes that Nasrallah is determined to launch a significant attack, partly due to the economic situation in Lebanon.
“All that is happening now is the result of an attempt to establish a military foothold in our area by Iran and its satellites in Lebanon,” Netanyahu said.
“I don’t suggest that anyone try the IDF or Israel. We are determined to defend ourselves. The IDF is prepared for any scenario,” Netanyahu added calling the incident “important”.
