Muslim terrorist shot and eliminated after throwing firebombs at IDF post in Samaria

A Muslim terrorist was shot and neutralized Thursday night after throwing firebombs towards an IDF post near Ariel in Samaria.

According to initial reports, IDF soldiers identified two terrorists who attempted to murder soldiers by throwing at least two firebombs at an IDF post.

In response, the troops opened fire, injuring one of the terrorists. According to Arab reports, he later died of his wounds.

“Last night, IDF soldiers thwarted an attempt by a terrorist squad to throw firebombs at an IDF guard post near Ariel. During operational activities, the soldiers identified two masked terrorists as they were throwing firebombs at the post and they responded with gunfire. One of the terrorists was wounded and the other fled”, the IDF said in a statement Friday afternoon.

“The IDF provided initial medical assistance to the terrorist who was wounded at the scene and transferred him for further treatment by the Red Crescent. After the incident, a claim was made that a Palestinian was killed by gunfire in a nearby village. The event is being investigated,” the IDF added.

Wednesday night, five Israelis were attacked by a mob of rock-throwing Muslim terrorists after they mistakenly entered the Arab village of Halhul in the Hevron area.

In addition, the IDF arrested 14 Muslim terrorists, including two Hamas leaders, during counter-terrorism operations in Judea and Samaria.
