BREAKING: Border Police forces operated overnight in Arab neighborhoods of Jerusalem and arrested 12 Muslim terrorists who were working on behalf of the Palestinian Authority security forces. The arrested, all residents of East Jerusalem in their 30-40s, were turned over to security agencies for further investigation.
“The Israel Police will take a hard and uncompromising hand against any Israeli resident or citizen acting on behalf or for other entities or authorities, in violation of the law,” the Police said in a statement.
In addition, the IDF arrested nine Muslim terrorists in Judea and Samaria. The arrested were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.
Two wanted terrorists, including a released convicted terrorist, were arrested in the Tulkarem area in northern Samaria.
Four terrorists were arrested in the Shechem area and another three in Ramallah, including a female terrorist.
Violent riots broke out Wednesday morning during a counter-terrorism operation in Ramallah, with Muslim terrorists throwing rocks and firebombs at IDF troops operating in the area.
