Watch: CCTV footage shows moment of the ramming attack near Jerusalem

Police CCTV footage shows the moment of the car-ramming attack at the Abu Dis security crossing yesterday.

A Muslim terrorist was shot and eliminated after ramming his car and wounding a Border policewoman.

The Muslim terrorist has been identified as Ahmed Erekat, from the Arab village of Abu Dis. He recorded himself ahead of the terror attack saying: “I never betrayed my nation, your brother is not a spy.”

He added that people online alleged that he was a spy for Israel, which brought shame to his family and caused him to become depressed.

The PA, Fatah, Hamas and other terror groups and Arab factions in the PA and Gaza have called for terror attacks in response to the Jewish State’s plans to apply sovereignty over Jewish communities of Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley.

As part of a coalition agreement, PM Netanyahu and Benny Gantz agreed that the government can begin moving forward with applying Israeli sovereignty to Jewish communities of Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley after July 1, a move expected to enjoy backing from a majority of lawmakers in the Knesset.

According to President Trump’s Mideast peace plan unveiled in January, the US will recognize an Israeli application of sovereignty over parts of the Jordan Valley, Judea and Samaria following the completion of a survey conducted by a joint US-Israel mapping committee, and if Israel agrees to negotiate under the framework of the proposal.
