Weapons seized, Muslim terrorists arrested during counter-terrorism operations in Judea and Samaria

BREAKING: As a part of an ongoing campaign against illegal weapons, IDF forces from the Binyamin Regional Brigade seized a Glock pistol, two M16 rifles, firearm parts, rifles and ammunition in the Arab village of Anata in the Binyamin area.

A Muslim terrorist was arrested and turned over to security agencies for further investigation.

The IDF arrested a number of Muslim terrorists overnight in Judea and Samaria, who were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.

Border Police forces arrested two wanted terrorists after raiding a home in the terror nest of Issawiya in Jerusalem.

Violent riots broke out during a counter-terrorism operation in Jenin, with Muslim terrorists throwing rocks and firebombs at IDF forces operating in the area.

In addition, the IDF, Border Police and the Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria secured the prayers and entry of Jewish worshipers to biblical Joseph’s Tomb in Shechem.

During the forces’ entry into Shechem, Muslim terrorists threw rocks, firebombs and fireworks at the troops.  There were no casualties and no damage reported among the security forces.

The IDF responded with riot dispersal methods. Arabs report at least one terrorist injured by rubber bullets.
