We remember Naftali, Gil-ad, Eyal – 3 Israeli boys kidnapped and murdered by Muslim terrorists
On this day six years ago, on 12 June 2014, three Israeli teenagers were kidnapped near the bus stop at the Jewish community of Alon Shvut in Gush Etzion, as they were hitchhiking to their homes.
The three teens were Naftali Frenkel (16, from Nof Ayalon), Gil-ad Shaer (16, from Talmon), and Eyal Yifrah (19, from Elad).
Israeli security forces and volunteers searched exhaustively for the three boys, and Jews around the world organized prayer rallies for them under the slogan #BringBackOurBoys.
Ultimately, the teens’ bodies were found on June 30, 2014. They had been shot and murdered by Hamas terrorists the day they went missing, within minutes of entering the terrorists’ car.
Naftali, Gil-ad, and Eyal were buried side by side, wrapped in Israeli flags.
On 23 September 2014, after security forces eliminated two Muslim terrorists in a shootout, the ‘Operation Brother’s Keeper’ came to an end. Another Hamas terrorist was captured alive and sentenced to three life terms in prison for the murders.
