Counter-terrorism operation underway along the Gaza border
HAPPENING NOW: IDF bulldozers entered the border perimeter east of al-Bureij in central Gaza.
Arabs report at least 30 IDF soldiers and three D9 bulldozers operating in the area, under the cover of drones and helicopters.
Hamas has reportedly cleared its terror posts in the area.
IDF troops on the Israeli side of the border are reportedly walking with dogs from north to south in the Be’eri area.
Yesterday, Israeli helicopters and IDF navy launched flares over the Mediterranean Sea near the border with northern Gaza.
Over the past weeks, the IDF spotted a number of drones that crossed into Israeli airspace for several minutes before returning to Gaza.
According to Arab reports, Israel has warned Hamas via Egypt’s intelligence that if those provocations don’t stop, the IDF would be forced to shoot down the drones.
