IDF arrests 5 African migrants attempting to invade Israel from Lebanon
BREAKING: IDF forces arrested five Sudanese migrants trying to cross from Lebanon into Israeli territory. The migrants were arrested as they tried to make it over the security fence.
The arrested said to have been hoping to find work in Israel as the coronavirus crisis ravage Lebanon.
Angered by the collapse of the Lebanese pound and rising poverty, thousands of rioters set fire to banks, shut down highways, and clashed with soldiers this week, in defiance of a lockdown against the coronavirus pandemic.
Dozens were injured and at least one person was killed after the military used live ammunition, rubber bullets, and tear gas to disperse the crowds.
