Israel heading to full lockdown for last days of Passover – Coronavirus death toll rises to 113
BREAKING: Israel is considering placing a full lockdown on the whole country for the last days of Passover and the Mimouna in order to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
The cabinet is set to approve Monday on similar restrictions imposed for Passover Eve and the first day of Passover, including a total ban on leaving the homes.
Residents will be banned from leaving their cities and towns from tomorrow Tuesday 5 mp until Sunday morning at 6 am.
Health Ministry officials are concerned that people would seek to celebrate the last day of Passover and Mimouna outside their nuclear families.
The number of coronavirus infections in Israel has risen to 11,235 as of Monday, with 113 fatalities and 181 people in serious condition.
