Israeli fighter jets and tanks bomb Hamas terror targets in Gaza in response to rocket attack

BREAKING: Israeli fighter jets and tanks bombed Hamas terror targets in Gaza in response to a rocket fired by Muslim terrorists towards southern Israel.

The IDF confirmed it struck three Hamas terror posts and underground infrastructure in Gaza, in response to the rocket fire earlier.

“A rocket was fired from Gaza at Israeli civilians earlier tonight. We just responded by striking Hamas terror targets in Gaza. As the world fights COVID19, we must also fight terror. And we’ll defeat them. Both”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit tweeted.

“IDF aircraft and tanks attacked military positions and infrastructure used for underground activity by Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip,” the IDF said in a statement.

“The attacks were carried out in response to rocket fire launched from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory earlier in the evening,” the statement added.

Incoming rocket sirens sounded tonight in Sderot, Ibim and Or HaNer. A rocket fired by Muslim terrorists in Gaza exploded in an open area. There were no reports of damage or injuries.
