Syria: At least 1 Iranian-linked terrorist eliminated, 4 wounded in alleged Israeli strikes

BREAKING: At least one Iranian-linked terrorist was eliminated and four others were wounded in alleged Israeli strikes targeting weapons depots belonging to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards terror group in south-west Syria.

Israeli fighter jets fired several missiles from over Lebanese airspace towards the central area of Syria, the state-run SANA news agency reported.

According to Arab reports, at least one Iranian-linked terrorist was eliminated and four others were wounded in two strikes.

At least eight missiles were fired at the airport near Homs and several other targeted areas in Quneitra, near the Israeli border.

Israeli jets were spotted flying over Sidon in Lebanon a few minutes previous to the attack.

Earlier this week, the IDF thwarted a sniper attack near the Syrian border in the northern Golan.

“We identified an attempted sniper attack from Syria toward the Golan Heights in northern Israel. In response, our soldiers just targeted the vehicle involved in the attempted attack”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit tweeted.

Israel has acknowledged carrying out hundreds of airstrikes in Syria in recent years, most of them aimed at arms shipments to be headed from Iran to its Shiite proxy Hezbollah.
