Rocket fired by Muslim terrorists from Gaza hits open area in southern Israel

BREAKING: A rocket was fired by Muslim terrorists in Gaza towards southern Israel.

A Code Red alert was activated in the Home Front Command app for open areas only.

According to initial reports, the rocket was fired from eastern Khan Yunis and exploded in an open area near Sufa.

“A short while ago, a failed launch attempt was detected from the Gaza Strip, that landed inside the Gaza Strip. As a result of the launch, an alert was activated as necessary in the Home Front Command App and in open areas only”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.

Last week the Islamic Jihad terror group fired more than 100 rockets towards southern Israel since Sunday. In response, Israel targeted Islamic Jihad terror targets in both Syria and Gaza, eliminating three Muslim terrorists.
