IDF opens fire on Islamic Jihad terrorists planting a bomb near the Gaza border – 2 eliminated
BREAKING: The IDF opened fire on a group of Muslim terrorists who were planting an explosive device next to the security border fence east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
The IDF estimates that the terror cell belongs to the Islamic Jihad terror group.
“IDF troops spotted 2 terrorists in Gaza planting an explosive device next to the security fence with Israel. Our soldiers opened fire at the terrorists. A hit was identified”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit tweeted.
The same cell of Muslim terrorists planted explosive devices on the Gaza border twice in the last few months, the IDF said.
Another four Muslim terrorists were shot and injured after attempting to approach the area in order to drag the terrorists’ carcasses inside Gaza.
An IDF bulldozer was seen removing the eliminated terrorists.
One of the eliminated terrorists has been identified as 27-year-old Mohammed al-Naseem, a member of the Islamic Jihad terror group. According to Arab reports, he was a senior terrorist in the Khan Yunis area.
The Islamic Jihad threatened to “bombard Tel Aviv”, stating that the hands of its terrorists are “on the trigger” and it was ready to avenge the blood of the eliminated terrorists.
