IDF strikes Islamic Jihad sniper squad in Gaza following shooting attack near the border

BREAKING: The IDF struck an Islamic Jihad sniper squad that targeted IDF forces near the Gaza border.

According to initial reports, an Islamic Jihad sniper squad in Khan Yunis targeted IDF forces operating near the security border fence.

IDF forces responded with fire, eliminating the threat.

According to Arab reports, one of the terrorists was moderately wounded.

No injuries reported among IDF soldiers.

“A short while ago, IDF troops identified a sniper squad of the Islamic Jihad terror group that fired from the area of Khan Yunis in Gaza at IDF troops inside Israeli territory. No injuries were reported. In response, IDF troops targeted the sniper squad in order to remove the threat”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.
