IDF bombs Hamas terror targets in Gaza in response to rockets fired by Muslim terrorists
HAPPENING NOW: Israeli fighter jets and helicopters are bombing Hamas terror targets in Gaza in response to rockets fired by Muslim terrorists towards southern Israel.
Arabs report at least five strikes on a Hamas terror infrastructure in the Khan Yunis port area near Deir al-Balah in southern Gaza.
The IDF is firing flares over the Gaza border near Khan Younis.
Significant anti-aircraft fire is being reported towards IDF drones and helicopters currently over several areas of Gaza.
In addition, the IDF fired warning shots at Muslim terrorists who were approaching the security border in southern Gaza.
An IDF spokesman said that IDF fighter jets and helicopters attacked several Hamas terrorist targets in Gaza, including a terror compound in central Gaza.
“This attack is hampering the ability of the Hamas terror group to intensify”, the IDF said.
Code Red rocket sirens sounded tonight in Kissufim. The IDF confirmed two rockets fired from Gaza exploded in open areas in the Eshkol Regional Council in southern Israel.
“Due to rocket fire, expansion of fishing limit to 15 miles, the introduction of cement into Gaza and the issuance of 500 work permits have been canceled”, the COGAT said in a statement.
