Syria: At least 7 Iranian terrorists eliminated in Israeli strikes on weapon warehouses

BREAKING: At least seven Iran-backed terrorists were eliminated Tuesday night in alleged Israeli airstrikes targeting a weapons depot belonging to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards terror group near Damascus International Airport.

According to reports, the missiles approached from the southwest over the Golan.

The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that at least seven Iranian-backed terrorists were eliminated in the alleged Israeli strikes targeting terror posts in the area between the Damascus International Airport and the Sayeda Zeinab neighborhood, south of the capital.

Yesterday, Iran threatened to deliver a crushing response to any Israeli action against its weapons.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran will give a crushing response that will cause regret to any kind of aggression or stupid action from this regime against our country’s interests in Syria and the region,” a ministry spokesman said.

The unusual threat came after a plane belonging to the Revolutionary Guard Corps terror group took off from Tehran to Damascus.

At least 23 Iranian nationals were eliminated earlier this month in alleged Israeli strikes on Iranian weapon warehouses near Damascus.

Israel has acknowledged carrying out hundreds of airstrikes in Syria in recent years, most of them aimed at arms shipments to be headed from Iran to its Shiite proxy Hezbollah.
