Rockets fired from Gaza – Iron Dome interceptions reported over Sderot

BREAKING: Rockets were fired by Muslim terrorists in Gaza towards southern Israel.

Code Red rocket alert sirens sounded in the city of Sderot, Ibim, Nir Am, Gavim and Sapir College.

Three people were injured while running for shelter in Sderot, including a mother, child and a baby, who was seriously wounded.

MDA says the baby is being transferred to Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva. The mother is in light condition.

The Iron Dome system has successfully intercepted multiple rockets fired from Gaza terrorists into Israel’s southern towns.

Explosions from Iron Dome interceptions were heard in Ofakim, Kiryat Gat and Beit Shemesh.

Residents in Sderot report at least two interceptions over the city.

A fire broke out in a field due to a direct impact near Sapir College.

“Three rockets were just fired from Gaza into Israel. The Iron Dome Aerial Defense System intercepted two rockets mid-air”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed.

Earlier today, Israeli fighter jets bombed Hamas terror targets in Gaza in response to a sniper attack targeting IDF observation cameras on the Gaza border.
