Iraq: 5 Rockets launched by Iranian proxy terrorists hit near US embassy in Baghdad
BREAKING: Five Katyusha rockets were fired by Iran-backed terrorists towards the fortified Green Zone area of Baghdad, which houses foreign embassies, including the US Embassy, and Iraqi government buildings.
Of the five rockets fired, three made a direct hit on the US embassy, for the first time since Iran-linked terrorists have started escalating.
A security source said that one of the rockets hit a cafe at dinner time.
At least one person was wounded in the attack, according to an Iraqi official.
The US Embassy and military bases hosting US troops in Iraq have been attacked by ballistic missiles from Iran and mortar shells launched almost daily by local Iran-backed terrorists, before and after the elimination of arch-terrorist Qassem Soleimani.
