Iraq: 3 Rockets launched by Iran-backed terrorists hit near US embassy in Baghdad
Three Katyusha rockets were fired Monday night by Iran-backed terrorists towards the fortified Green Zone area of Baghdad, which houses foreign embassies, including the US Embassy, and Iraqi government buildings.
Sirens could be heard across the zone immediately after the rockets exploded.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
Military bases hosting US troops in Iraq have been attacked by ballistic missiles from Iran and mortar shells launched almost daily by local Iran-backed terrorists, before and after the elimination of arch-terrorist Qassem Soleimani.
