The IDF deployed additional Iron Dome missile defense batteries in several cities in the south in preparation for a possible escalation and rocket fire towards Israel, after four rockets were fired by Muslim terrorists on Wednesday afternoon.

Code Red rocket alert sirens sounded in Nahal Oz, Sa’ad and Kfar Azza.

The Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted two rockets over Nahal Oz.

Two rockets exploded in open areas causing no injuries or damage.

Later, an explosive device attached to balloons launched by Muslim terrorists in Gaza exploded in the city of Sderot in southern Israel.

Police sappers were called and roads were closed in the area while police secure the scene.
