Hamas terror chief in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh on Monday attended the funeral in Tehran of Iran’s arch-terrorist Qassem Soleimani, who was eliminated by the US in Baghdad on Friday.

“The resistance [terrorism] on the [imaginary] lands of Palestine and its surrounding area will not weaken and will not back down,” said Haniyeh during the funeral, “these assassinations [eliminations] only serve to strengthen our resolve to free Jerusalem [murder Jews], with Soleimani being Jerusalem’s own martyr.”

Weeping amid wails from a crowd of hundreds of thousands of mourners, Iran’s supreme leader prayed over the carcass of Soleimani.

Soleimani’s daughter, Zeinab, directly threatened an attack on the US military in the Middle East while speaking to a crowd in Tehran that stretched as far as the eye could see.

“The families of U.S. soldiers in the Middle East will spend their days waiting for the death of their children,” she said to cheers.

“We promise to continue down martyr Soleimani’s path as firmly as before with help of God, and in return for his martyrdom we aim to get rid of America from the region,” said Soleimani’s deputy Esmail Ghaani, who replaces him as head of the country’s Quds Forces terror group.

Soleimani’s elimination has escalated the crisis between Tehran and Washington after months of back-and-forth attacks and threats. Iran has promised “harsh revenge”, while President Trump has vowed on Twitter that the US will strike back at 52 targets “VERY FAST AND VERY HARD.”
