Gaza: Terror fans burn US, Israeli flags and set up mourning tent for arch-terrorist Soleimani
Hundreds of terror fans in Gaza mourned the death of Iran’s top terrorist Qassem Soleimani, eliminated by a US airstrike in Iraq.
Leaders of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad terror groups, both backed by Iran, joined mourners at a tent erected in Soleimani’s honor in Gaza City.
Flags of the United States and Israel were laid on the ground for visitors to tread on as they entered, passing murals of arch-terrorist Soleimani.
The flags were later set on fire in the traditional burning flag ceremony.
“We are loyal to those who stood with
the resistance [terrorism] and with [the imaginary state of] Palestine and we hold the U.S administration and the Zionist occupation [the State of Israel] fully responsible for the consequences of this deplorable crime [targeted elimination],” said Ismail Radwan, a Hamas terrorist.
Israel has reportedly warned the terror groups in Gaza against any attempted response to the US elimination of Soleimani. According to local sources, the warning was transferred via Egypt.
Yesterday, PM Netanyahu praised President Trump over the elimination of arch-terrorist Qassem Soleimani. “Just as Israel has the right of self-defense, the United States has exactly the same right,” Netanyahu said.
Israel has raised its national security alert levels and at its missions abroad.
