Iraq: Muslim terrorists storm US Embassy in Baghdad following airstrikes on Iran-backed terrorists
HAPPENING NOW: Hundreds of Muslim terrorists are trying to storm the US embassy in Baghdad following American airstrikes on Iranian-backed terrorists near the Syria-Iraq border in retaliation for a rocket attack in which an American contractor was killed.
US embassy staff and US ambassador in Baghdad have been evacuated, according to Iraqi foreign ministry officials.
Some 200 terrorists have stormed the US embassy after breaking down the gate at the compound.
Arabs report 20 terrorists injured from live fire and tear gas.
US forces bombed headquarters of the Iranian proxy Kataib Hezbollah terror group in the town of al-Qaim, near al-Bukamal in the Syria-Iraq border, in response to the killing of a US civilian contractor in a rocket attack on an Iraqi military base hosting US forces.
At 25 Muslim terrorists were eliminated and 51 others wounded in the strikes.
Thousands participated in the funerals for the Muslim terrorists eliminated in the strikes. After the funerals, they marched on to the heavily fortified Green Zone until they reached the US embassy.
Journalists on the scene saw the chanting crowd try to storm the embassy.
Security guards were seen retreating to the inside of the embassy as the terrorists threw firebombs and smashed security cameras outside the embassies.
The terrorists also hung yellow flags belonging to the Kataib Hezbollah terror group on the walls of the embassy.
