Iran threatens Israel, vows to attack from Syria or Lebanon after Israeli strikes on its weapons depots

“Israel will regret its airstrikes in Syria. There will be a response from Syria or Lebanon to these crimes”, senior advisor to Iran’s Khamenei Ali Akbar Velayati threatened on Monday, following a series of Israeli strikes on Iranian weapon warehouses in Syria.

At least three Iranian terrorists were eliminated overnight in alleged Israeli strikes on Iranian and Assad weapon warehouses near Damascus.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that three “foreign nationals” were killed in three explosions targeting Iranian and Syrian military positions, including Hama and T-4 military airbases.

Israel has bombed the T4 base several times in the past years, as Iran has been moving its assets to locations closer to the border with Iraq, specifically, the T4 Airbase located between Homs and Palmyra.

Earlier this month, Israeli satellite imaging firm ImageSat revealed that Iran is building an underground terror tunnel to store weapons and move terrorists on the Iraq-Syria border.
