BREAKING: ISIS terror group claimed responsibility for a series of simultaneous drone attacks targeting oil refineries and gas stations located in the city of Homs, north of Damascus.

While the official media and oil ministry did not provide details about the attacks, local sources said that two oil facilities and two gas stations were drone-bombed by ISIS terrorists early Saturday morning.

ISIS terrorists killed 13 Assad soldiers who were securing the Al-Hil gas station and four civilians who were working during the attack.

The oil ministry said that several production units had been damaged and repair teams were working alongside firefighters to try to restore output as quickly as possible.

ISIS occasionally pursues such strikes against Syrian regime strongholds and power stations across Syria.
