Israeli fighter jets bomb a Hamas weapons manufacturing site in Gaza in response to rocket fire

BREAKING: Israeli fighter jets bombed a Hamas weapons manufacturing site west of Gaza city after a rocket launched by Muslim terrorists towards southern Israel, was intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system over Sderot.

“In response to the rocket fired from Gaza at Israel overnight, IDF fighter jets struck a Hamas weapons manufacturing site in Gaza. We hold Hamas responsible for the events transpiring in the Gaza Strip and emanating from it”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit tweeted.

Sirens sounded at 2:30 a.m. in the towns of Sderot and Ibim.

Two people were wounded. One of the victims suffered from shock and the other was lightly injured while running for shelter.

“A rocket was fired from Gaza at Israeli civilians. The rocket was intercepted mid-air by the Iron Dome Aerial Defense System”, the IDF said.

The latest escalation with Gaza began last month when an Israeli strike eliminated a top Islamic Jihad terrorist, Baha Abu al-Ata and brought a wave of rocket fire into Israel in response.
