Building in Israel hit by errant fire from Egyptian battle against ISIS terrorists
Damage was caused to a building in moshav Bnei Netzarim, along Israel’s southern border, in an apparent misfire of a mortar shell from Egypt.
No one was injured in the incident.
IDF sappers were called to the scene.
Egyptian security forces are continuing to battle ISIS-linked terrorists in the northern Sinai peninsula.
Hundreds of Muslim terrorists have been eliminated since the Egyptian army launched a wide-scale operation in February 2018 aimed at eradicating the terrorists. The operation is still ongoing.
