IDF launches major surprise drill for war readiness
The IDF’s northern command launched a large-scale surprise exercise simulating a number of war scenarios.
This is the second drill in a series of preparations for 2019 headed by the Chief of Staff, Major General Aviv Kochavi.
The drill will take place in the Jezreel Valley and in the Upper Galilee until Tuesday.
As part of the exercise, there will be an intense movement of security forces, vehicles, and aircraft. Sirens and explosions will be heard in the area.
In addition, as part of the exercise, the system to call up reservists was activated.
